Prior to the advent of the agricultural evolution, human foragers had activity and diet already pre-programmed into their daily lives. When civilization came along, it confined many of us to desk jobs that inhibit adequate amounts of movement and activity. It also increased our affinity to processed foods that have a high shelf-life, almost no nutrients, and are calorie dense. We talk a little about the Forager Fitness philosophy and how we got to where we are occupationally as a society.
